Private Chefs

Hiring a private chef to cook for you can be a relaxing alternative to hosting a large dinner party at an upscale restaurant. Private Chefs can plan a meal with you, shop for the best ingredients, prepare, serve and clean up, right in our own kitchen.

Following are some local chefs who are familiar with our kitchen and can be available to prepare meals for guests at Suisun Valley Inn, using our kitchen. If you are interested in having a meal prepared for your group, please contact one of these chefs to discuss arrangements. Chefs are independent contractors and all arrangements should be made directly with the chef themselves.

Chef Jackie Nakapaahu

Chef Jackie Nakapaahu studied at the Art Institute of California-Sacramento and graduated with honors receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Management. Since then she has started her own catering business Sa’Vory De’Lites Catering and has been working as a part time chef for a Jewish Student Community at Hillel House in Davis CA for almost 2 1/2 years. Chef Jackie offers weekly meal prep as well as private in-home catering and dining. She’s always looking to serve others and make everyone happy with her food and her presence. Chef will go above and beyond to make certain that everyone is well fed and well taken care of. 

Along with cooking she also enjoys music, traveling, Napa crawling with wine tasting, going to concerts & comedy shows, entertaining with friends, camping and spending quality time with her family. Her most prize possessions and joys of her life are her kids and her beautiful grandchildren. Life would not be complete without them.

I became a chef because I love to bring people together with good food, great stories, and lasting memories. Some of the best memories of my life have been spent around dining room tables with friends, family, and even an occasional stranger, sharing food made with love by a family member or another chef.

My career began in Downtown San Diego at Searsucker restaurant. After cooking in San Diego for 3 years I decided to move out to the Napa Valley in search of a challenge and more knowledge. Throughout my travels I have had the amazing opportunity to work at Morimoto Napa, Bottega, Saison, and Roka Akor SF and others. I learned a great deal about refinement from these establishments but I still felt the desire to bring people a more personal and intimate experience.

Chef Joey M. Jaraba Jr.

Chef Joey M. Jaraba Jr. attended Lederwolff Culinary Academy in 1995-1996 and as a classically trained chef has worked his way thru Napa and Solano County restaurants and golf courses. He is currently the Executive Chef for City Sports Bar and Grill in Stars Recreation Center. Chef Joey was also a Certified Master Taster for American Culinary Chefsbest as judge for national products. He has cooked as personal chefs for the Samsung LPGA players, chef for the VIP suites for Superbowl 50, Pebble Beach Food & Wine, worked with numerous celebrity chefs such as Graham Elliot, Ming Tsai, Top Chef and Top Chef Masters Takashi Yagahashi, Johnathan Waxman, Fabio Viviani, Hugh Acheson, Naomi Pomeroy and Stephanie Izard to name a few. Chef Georgia Javaras

Chef Georgia Javaras brings 30 years of experience in the food industry to the table. Creating fresh farm-to-table dishes is where she shines!

My passion is centered in taking traditional dishes and elevating flavors to bring new life to the table. An essential component to every dish I serve is sourcing ingredients from local farms in Solano County. As an owner of a small local farm, I find using fresh local ingredients is the most important aspect of creating nutrient rich and vibrant dishes to bring you a true farm-to-table experience.

In 2022 I was fortunate to get the opportunity to study under Chef Alessandra Spisni of Bologna Italy, mastering dishes of the northern regions of Italy. While in Italy I was provided the opportunity to create dishes alongside of some of their brilliant gastronomists learning the technique of Sfolia.

I pour a whole lot of love into everything I make and I would love to share my experience and creativity with you and your guests.
