Hiring a private chef to cook for you can be an economical alternative to hosting a large dinner party at an upscale restaurant. Private Chefs can plan a meal with you, shop for the best ingredients, prepare, serve and clean up, right in our own kitchen.
Following are some local chefs who are familiar with our kitchen and can be available to prepare meals for guests at Suisun Valley Inn, using our kitchen. If you are interested in having a meal prepared for your group, please contact one of these chefs to discuss arrangements. Chefs are independent contractors and all arrangements should be made directly with the chef themselves.
Chef David Brazeel has been cooking for most of his life. His roots are grounded in the Southern Cuisine that was instilled in him as a child by his grandmother in his home state of Alabama. He has a passion for food, cooking, and making his clients happy. After having David cook for your family, he will leave you full and satisfied! David will come to your house and use what you have there or for an additional cost, he can bring everything with him. You can design your own menu or tell him what you like and he will give you a few options for your meal. It’s easy, quick, and good!

Chef Kattie De Zee grew up in the Midwest, which means not much fresh produce. Once I left "home" (joined the Army), I was able to travel and experience the wonderful world of food. I was hooked! Thankfully, the Army shipped me to California; the land of farmers markets. The pursuit continued as I attended the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, earning my degree in Culinary Arts. Thus far, my foodie career has provided for a diversity of experiences: from restaurants and wineries to private parties and cooking classes. Oh, and of course cooking for friends and family. I love playing with food! I’m curious and am always willing to try new things; while being conscious of our roots and fruits (sustainability). I'm on this progressive journey, creating more than just food; I strive to provide a beautiful experience.

Chef Marco’s passion for cooking started after being in contact with the stove for years to follow my mother Silvana's creations on Sunday mornings, when all Italian families gather for an ever-lasting lunch starting from appetizers and ending with a dessert, and a coffee with a shot of grappa, known in Italy as caffè corretto.
I found some time to train myself over the years refraining from my ordinary work and dedicating myself to the cuisine of Belluno and then Venetian. I've had the chance to work in England, Canada and the United States where I enjoyed a variety of tips and advice. But now I'm back to my origins with the old Venetian dishes accompanied by fabulous wines and I cook exclusively for small groups where I can best express myself.

Chef Joey M. Jaraba Jr. attended Lederwolff Culinary Academy in 1995-1996 and as a classically trained chef has worked his way thru Napa and Solano County restaurants and golf courses. He is currently the Executive Chef for City Sports Bar and Grill in Stars Recreation Center. Chef Joey was also a Certified Master Taster for American Culinary Chefsbest as judge for national products. He has cooked as personal chefs for the Samsung LPGA players, chef for the VIP suites for Superbowl 50, Pebble Beach Food & Wine, worked with numerous celebrity chefs such as Graham Elliot, Ming Tsai, Top Chef and Top Chef Masters Takashi Yagahashi, Johnathan Waxman, Fabio Viviani, Hugh Acheson, Naomi Pomeroy and Stephanie Izard to name a few. Daniel Baisman is a unique Chef to say the least. With no formal culinary education in his early years of life, he mastered his craft by learning under one of the best teachers of traditional cooking rooting back to Incan culture: his grandmother. She sparked a passion for culinary creativity that led him to work in California’s most prestigious wineries and culinary institutes.
If that wasn’t enough, he went on to live his own culinary version of “Good Morning Vietnam” as a contractor for the Department of Defense and the US Armed Forces all over the middle east. Today, he is finishing his formal culinary education because it was a goal he had always wanted to accomplish.
With many more experiences between his grandmother’s kitchen and the sandy plains of Afghanistan, he currently is mastered in the Nuevo Latino, Peruvian, Mediterranean, and Arabic cuisines. He is also doing extensive research and development with Peruvian Superfoods like Quinoa, Maca and others, bringing all those elements to a modern cuisine for all to enjoy.
