Private Chefs

Hiring a private chef to cook for you can be an economical alternative to hosting a large dinner party at an upscale restaurant. Private Chefs can plan a meal with you, shop for the best ingredients, prepare, serve and clean up, right in our own kitchen.

Following are some local chefs who are familiar with our kitchen and can be available to prepare meals for guests at Suisun Valley Inn, using our kitchen. If you are interested in having a meal prepared for your group, please contact one of these chefs to discuss arrangements. Chefs are independent contractors and all arrangements should be made directly with the chef themselves.


Chef David Brazeel has been cooking for most of his life. His roots are grounded in the Southern Cuisine that was instilled in him as a child by his grandmother in his home state of Alabama. He has a passion for food, cooking, and making his clients happy. After having David cook for your family, he will leave you full and satisfied! David will come to your house and use what you have there or for an additional cost, he can bring everything with him. You can design your own menu or tell him what you like and he will give you a few options for your meal. It’s easy, quick, and good!

Chef Emily Riedell of “Farmer’s Daughter” is a California native that loves cooking with farm fresh ingredients from the region. Her creativity in the kitchen is rooted in her belief that a meal should be both fun and nourishing for the body and soul. She is a graduate of the Natural Chef Program at Bauman College in Berkeley, Ca.

Chef Kattie De Zee grew up in the Midwest, which means not much fresh produce. Once I left "home" (joined the Army), I was able to travel and experience the wonderful world of food. I was hooked! Thankfully, the Army shipped me to California; the land of farmers markets. The pursuit continued as I attended the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, earning my degree in Culinary Arts. Thus far, my foodie career has provided for a diversity of experiences: from restaurants and wineries to private parties and cooking classes. Oh, and of course cooking for friends and family. I love playing with food! I’m curious and am always willing to try new things; while being conscious of our roots and fruits (sustainability). I'm on this progressive journey, creating more than just food; I strive to provide a beautiful experience.
